Allo… and how are we?

For me, it is crezy Wedenseday, why? Well how I start….. mmmm….. Well I had one meeting to next, then one to another of appointments and not just that, i got delays to delays of time.

Anyhow, I managed to go on the drama that night and i was late by and i have an appointment an half of earlier one pre to drama. Fortunately, I managed to jump in the rehearal and thankfully everyone were pleased to see me in that night.

After the break, we reheared the king Mida’s golden touch, but the problem was that everyone interdupt so many times that I lost my contration and I was little upset but we did continue the rehearals. Unfortunately, we didn’t had time, so Jo had to cut down the rehearals.

That is all for the moment. And i have made a few comments on other blogs.

As i did say that i will do some of the vineblogs. I would like to make a few comments about the blogs:

19/7/06 - I had to come directly from Burwood for the first time on this day and discovered the nightmare traffic of the Monash so-called freeway.More like Daedelus’ maze! Fortunately the company rallied together to start a warm-up without me. When I got there they were all (or mostly) hard at work ready to go into the new story.

I told the story of Icarus and Daedalus using a few props and then asked Paul to have a go at Daedalus and Andy as Icarus to bring the story to life. Paul got straight into it and Andy had a go - but felt he wasn’t ‘birdish’ enough and suggested someone else have a try. Pauline had a shot at the role and did a great job but suggested Cheryl try it out. Cheryl was great at it and so we seem to have our Icarus. Debbie took the role of the sun- and was sunsational!

We incorporated shadow puppets into this scene - the company agreed this could be very effective. More work to be done on this.

One more story to go.

Today, out of bordom, i was browsing away in the vineblogs… i have noticed that there is a blog called “Master Blog“. Unfortunately, i couldn’t read his posts, so I went other links that he have done. Then, I went to his other links it is interesting. So I went for a sticky-pick and there is a link called “Justin’s Theatre”, I was amazed that he has quite good information. So, go on and have a look.

mmm … let me see, this week wasn’t good at all, why? There are many negitive things happening at once that it didn’t went well for all of us. As you know what is happening from middle-east, I have felt that the iseralis didn’t care about the foreniers and that isn’t fair for them to escape from the trouble land. As you hear the news, slowly the australians are safely going home or are at home amongs family and friends. I hope all of them are safe home even the last person.

Last night wasn’t good at all. Jo was late and she was stuck on the freeway not even half of centremetre. So, the actors and I were started to make the warm ups till she comes. And we did pitty well without her around. Forturnately, she came with a haf and a paf…. continue the new story.

The story was an inventer called Daedalus and his son Eckerus (Icarus). Who he invented a lambrith (a maze). The story goes like this; Daedalus was arrested with his son and throw them into the maze. Daedalus was lost in the maze with his own inventation. So he asked his son how they can escape the maze. So Daedalus had an idea that they could fly away from the maze.

On the positve side, I would like to welcome Katrina on the post.

Before I go…. Ah!!! Yes… title for the play… I better keep it to myself for the time been and I will let you know til due time.

Lastly, I hope those australians from the trouble land will and are safe and the family from here are waiting or abreast them.

 In this week’s session I read a version of the story of Midas. The group grasped the story quickly and agreed to work on it. It was a quick step from telling the story to performing it. Alex made a convincing King Midas -lots of greed, attitude and bling!  Perhaps the 7 deadly sins work we did helped with this one. Andrew made a cool Dionysis and Vicki a sensational Princess Midas. Great focus and concentration Vicki! Everyone contributed ideas, dialogue and the ‘extras’ for the scenes. Paul suggested that Dionysis say ‘Careful what you wish for!’. Good one Paul.

Amara was back tonight and we were all very pleased to see her again.

 

Hey it is great to see Katrina has joined in the blogging. We now have three people blogging on the Climbers blog. I hope Katrina will add something regularly now.

Hi everyone, my name is Katrina Welsby. I can’t wait untill the performance’s in November, I have alot of people coming, it is going to be good. Everyone has a lot of good idea’s.  One thing I do know is Andrew would be good dressed up as a clown. That is all for now signing out.      

mmmmm… Last night was interesting and treking too. Jo give us another greek mythical story, “king Mida’s golden touch”. I thought that was interesting to me. Then Jo thought that I would be the perfect person to be part of the story. So i started to act it out and the group also helped to improve the ideas and technics. So I thought this would be a great idea to make this story as a comedy. So i tried to go on acting with silly and crezy things and at the same time, I thought it would be even better if this story could make it into a morden style story. The group also thought the same too.

While i acted out, the group laughed so much that we thought this would be a classic hit. At the end, I had a great title for the performance. Well I cannot tell you at the moment. It would have even better titles then this one.

As last night was interesting to me. Why? Well after the break, as Jo said “think of the thought they thought the Thinker might be thinking (Is that a tongue twister or what!).” then it kept me movalate to draw ideas like crezy… one idea to next it didn’t there…. others also give ideas to next it didnt stop and it sounded like motorbike with words.

When Jo showed us the picture of the thinker and telling us put an idea as a thought. So while we try think only pictures as she suggested, my first thought was…… will…. i can’t tell you that yet. You have to wait by next week.

Then i continue with other ideas with this one;  and then my brain went like a thousand miles. Then Katrina of cause, she had another 1001 ideas and titles for the show.
